Job DetailsAs the Automotive Controller, your key responsibilities will include
- Overseeing all financial and accounting operations within our multi-franchise automotive dealership.
- Preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements and reports.
- Ensuring all financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
- Developing and implementing financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to drive business growth.
- Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
- Managing relationships with external auditors and ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
- Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
- Identifying and managing business risks and insurance requirements.
- Driving the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.
- Collaborating with other department leaders to improve financial performance and operational decision-making processes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive industry, preferably in a multi-franchise dealership.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial software.
- Strong understanding of financial law and business legislation.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovative solutions.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Strong business and commercial acumen.
