We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced, and strategic Financial Controller. This role will be a key member of our finance team, overseeing all financial aspects of our manufacturing processes. This includes managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, analyzing financial data, and participating in budgeting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing finance, with a deep understanding of financial regulations and accounting processes.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations within the manufacturing department, including the development and management of budgets, preparation of financial statements and reporting.
• Manage all aspects of financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the manufacturing department.
• Develop and implement financial strategies for the manufacturing department, including cost reduction strategies and revenue enhancement initiatives.
• Analyze financial data and provide strategic planning support to the manufacturing department and senior management team.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including internal controls and auditing processes.
• Implement and manage systems for financial control and risk management within the manufacturing department.
• Oversee the management of inventory, costing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable within the manufacturing department.
• Lead process improvement initiatives within the manufacturing finance department to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide leadership and direction to the manufacturing finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic planning.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes, including internal controls and auditing processes.
• Experience with inventory management, costing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and make strategic recommendations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and high performance.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate financial information to non-financial colleagues.
• Proficiency in corporate finance and risk management.
• Ability to drive process improvement initiatives within a finance department.
• Proficiency in using financial software and systems.
