Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all company accounts and investments, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.
2. Develop and manage financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.
3. Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
4. Create budgets and forecasts for the company based on financial analysis.
5. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, and ensure these are communicated and understood by all relevant staff.
6. Monitor the company's financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs.
7. Work with executive management to make decisions based on financial research and data reports.
8. Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
9. Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.
10. Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
11. Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
2. Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
3. Minimum of 1 years of experience in a finance or accounting position.
4. Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
5. Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
6. Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting.
7. Experience with budget development and oversight experience.
8. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
9. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
10. Ability to strategize and solve problems.
11. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
13. An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
