We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Controls Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time role that offers an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of exciting and innovative projects. In this role, you will be a key player in the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical control systems. You will work closely with a team of professionals to ensure our projects are completed on time and within budget, while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Controls Engineer, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
1. Designing, developing, and implementing electrical control systems for machinery and equipment to improve safety, efficiency, and performance.
2. Performing system diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and correct issues in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and develop appropriate control systems.
4. Creating and updating technical documentation, including system designs, schematics, and operational manuals.
5. Conducting system tests to ensure functionality and performance meet project specifications and regulatory standards.
6. Providing technical support and training to end-users to ensure proper operation and maintenance of control systems.
7. Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in control engineering and integrating them into operations and activities as appropriate.
8. Ensuring all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for the Controls Engineer position will have the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in control engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in electrical control system design, development, implementation, and troubleshooting.
4. Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
7. Proficiency in using computer software and applications related to control engineering, such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and PLC programming.
8. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
11. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed to project sites.
