Job Details
Our thriving real estate investment and development firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Transactional Paralegal with a minimum of 5 years of experience to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate and real estate law, with a proven track record of providing exceptional support to attorneys and executives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing, reviewing, and organizing legal documents related to real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and financing documents
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various corporate and real estate legal matters
- Maintain and update corporate records, minutes, and resolutions related to real estate investment and development projects
- Coordinate and assist with due diligence processes for real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions
- Assist in the preparation of materials for investment committee meetings, investor presentations, and other corporate events
- Manage and maintain corporate compliance programs and policies related to real estate investments and development projects
- Liaise with outside counsel, lenders, and other external parties on legal matters
- Provide general administrative support to the legal department as needed
- Bachelor's degree and paralegal certification from an accredited program
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a corporate transactional paralegal, preferably with exposure to real estate law and transactions
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, real estate law, and general business principles
- Familiarity with real estate investment and development concepts and terminology
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with entity management software and real estate transaction management software is a plus
