Responsibilities:
- Analyze daily material movements to ensure accuracy between physical movements (onsite and in outside storage facilities) and system movements. This includes but is not limited to, production receipts, bulk physical daily reconciliation, PO receipts, transfers, shipments, and repack.
- Communicate findings and assist with corrective action.
- Point person in Finance for all Physical Inventory reconciliation events and cycle counts.
- Assist with annual budget preparation and monthly budget variance analysis.
- Work with managers to maintain KPIs and distribute and administer monthly reporting.
- Ensure accurate material valuation, including finished goods as well as subsequent COGS reporting.
- Work with the warehouse to utilize and optimize cycle counting procedures.
- Assist in compiling reporting/data for annual cost center budgets, and product costs.
- Assist in compiling reporting/data for monthly variance analysis.
- Assist with project analysis, cost-saving initiatives, and business cases.
- Assist with inventory counts
- 2 years in a Cost Accounting position preferred
- Manufacturing experience is a plus!
- BS in Accounting or equivalent experience
- SAP or equivalent ERP system
- Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Powerpoint
