Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. This is a full time opportunity. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of talented professionals in a fast-paced, innovative, and high-energy environment. You will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and testing infrastructures for data generation. You will be working with large and complex data sets, solving difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
2. Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization.
3. Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.
4. Write complex queries on large data sets in the Azure environment to extract valuable insights.
5. Design, build, and support the BI/Analytics tools & data set in Azure.
6. Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.
7. Work closely with stakeholders on the data demand side (e.g. business users, analysts).
8. Define company data assets (data models), spark, sparkSQL, and hiveSQL jobs to populate data models.
9. Work closely with all business units and engineering teams to develop strategy for long-term data platform architecture.
Qualifications:

• At least 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, or Software Developer
• In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services, relational database design principles, data warehousing, performance tuning, and optimization
• Exhibit strong analytic skills related to working with both structured and unstructured datasets.
• High level proficiency in T-SQL, ADF Pipelines, SSIS packages, Lift and Shift of existing On-premises processes, database design principles, data modeling and data warehousing
• Have experience using/setting up Azure DevOps integration with cloud services and setting up CI/CD processes
• Understanding of performance analysis and tuning activities to ensure optimal database performance
