We are looking for a Director to work closely with clients to provide strategic financial insights, drive operational improvements, and support growth initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of private equity environments, strong financial acumen, and exceptional leadership skills.
In addition to client execution, the Director will lead, shape, and guide our CFO Services group. This pivotal role involves a broad range of responsibilities aimed at driving the group's success and ensuring the delivery of exceptional services to our clients.
This role requires a strong financial acumen, leadership experience in a fast-paced and growing environment and a passion for excellence.
Typical engagements include
- Fractional or Interim CFO
- Post-transaction integrations and transitions
- Financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
- Strategic advisory
- Sell-side transaction preparation
- Historical accounting clean-up
- Develop and lead the group
- Execute client engagements
- Oversee all group engagements to ensure engagements align with the firm’s goals and client expectations
- Mentor and develop junior team members
- Design, improve, and implement internal processes, procedures, and templates for the group
- Actively be involvement in the firm’s business development efforts
- Have active participation in company strategy discussions
- 5-10 years of corporate finance, financial services, or public accounting experience
- 5 years of leadership experience
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP and internal accounting systems and accounting processes such as inventory, accrual estimates, revenue recognition, fixed assets, and interim/year-end close
- CFO/VP of Finance/Director of Finance experience is preferred
- Proven track record of delivering sound strategic financial advisory services to clients
- Ideal candidates will have at least one of the following CPA, CFA, MBA, or relevant Masters
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time, when applicable
