ResponsibilitiesAs an Electrical Design Engineer, your duties will include
- Designing, developing, and testing all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery.
- Using specialized software, such as 3D Revit and 3D AutoCAD, for creating detailed electrical designs and schematics.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop comprehensive electrical systems.
- Conducting detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
- Inspecting installations and observing operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications, safety standards and to support quality assurance programs.
- Preparing and studying technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
- Planning and implementing research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
- Conducting field surveys and studying maps, graphs, diagrams, and other data to identify and correct power system problems.
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a focus on 3D Revit and 3D AutoCAD.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes, including quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work in a team and to collaborate with professionals from other disciplines.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead projects and work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD software.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
