We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our rapidly growing manufacturing team. This is a permanent position where you will play a critical role in overseeing the electrical maintenance operations of our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for leading a team of electricians in maintaining and improving our production and facility equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Master Electrician who is self-motivated and has a strong background in electrical maintenance, PLC, ladder logic, electrical control, electrical blueprints, and electric motors & controls troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the electrical maintenance team to ensure all equipment is operating at peak efficiency.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and PLC ladder logic.
- Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical control systems.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety standards and electrical codes.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in electrical maintenance and safety.
- Collaborate with other department supervisors to coordinate maintenance and repair work.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements in maintenance and operational procedures.
- Prepare and present reports on maintenance operations and project progress to management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience as a Master Electrician.
- Extensive knowledge of PLC, ladder logic, electrical control systems, and electrical blueprints.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electric motors and controls.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to improve processes and outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Must have a valid electrician's license.
