Duties
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations of pediatric patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in children
- Administer vaccinations and immunizations according to the recommended schedule
- Monitor growth and development of pediatric patients
- Provide guidance and counseling to parents on child care, nutrition, and overall wellness
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients
- Perform medical procedures such as gastric lavage or inhalation therapy when necessary
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems like eClinicalworks
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in pediatric medicine through continuing education
- Completion of a residency program in Pediatrics
- Board certification or eligibility for board certification in Pediatrics
- Experience in primary care settings preferred
- Knowledge of clinical trials and research methodologies related to pediatrics is a plus
- Familiarity with behavioral health assessment and intervention for children
- Mandarin or Cantonese fluency is highly preferred.
