Job DetailsWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Family Nurse Practitioner to work 32 hours a week in our clinic. This is a permanent position in the Medical industry, where you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver the highest level of care to our patients. This role is not just about treating illnesses - it's about fostering health and wellness, educating patients, and making a profound impact on the lives of your patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care services, including diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health problems.
- Carry out physical examinations and preventive health measures within the prescribed guidelines and instructions of a physician.
- Record patient's medical history, vital statistics, and information such as test results in patient's Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Prescribe medication following the patient's condition, severity, allergies, and potential drug interactions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals as needed, including providing referrals.
- Educate and guide patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Understand the patient's health condition and maintain a holistic approach to patient care.
- Develop a patient-focused practice that is fully compliant with healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.
- Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Proficient with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- In-depth knowledge of family medicine and patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a team approach to patient care.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly in high-stress situations.
- Ability to work independently, while also collaborating effectively with a wide range of healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
- Strong ethical and moral character, with a deep commitment to patient care.
