Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sensor technology for infrared cameras, LIDAR, and/or Lasers. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and test hardware components and systems for our next-generation products, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
2. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and product managers, to define system requirements and specifications.
3. Utilize expertise in sensor technology, camera and optical systems, LIDAR, and laser technology to innovate and improve product designs.
4. Manage wafer, die and system testing.
5. Electronic design automation, including schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout.
6. Participate in all phases of product development, from concept to production, including troubleshooting and resolving any hardware issues.
7. Conduct detailed analysis and testing of hardware designs to ensure reliability, efficiency, and durability.
8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in hardware technology and incorporate new techniques and tools into the design process.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Hardware Engineer with a focus on sensor technology, camera and optical systems, lidar, and/or laser technology.
3. Proven track record of designing, developing, and testing hardware components and systems.
4. Strong knowledge of schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
8. Up-to-date with the latest advancements in hardware technology.
9. Highly motivated, with a passion for technology and a drive to continuously improve and innovate.
