We are on the hunt for a dynamic, driven and experienced Permanent NEED HUNTER! Head of Sales - Cloud. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading company in the Technology industry, where you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding the company's presence in the cloud market. You will be the backbone of our sales team, leading and inspiring them to reach new heights. Your role will be pivotal in our journey to becoming a global leader in cloud technology solutions. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in cloud sales, with a deep understanding of the Technology industry and a passion for innovation.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic go-to-market (GTM) plans for our cloud solutions
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, setting clear objectives and providing ongoing support and coaching
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Prospect for potential new clients, using a range of techniques including cold calling and lead generation
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas, driving the team towards ambitious performance targets
  • Manage and grow the sales territory, identifying new business opportunities and cultivating relationships with potential customers
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience, from initial contact through to post-sale support
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity, adjusting sales strategies as necessary
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the Technology industry
  • Proven track record in cloud sales, with a deep understanding of the cloud market and related technologies
  • Strong experience in B2B sales, direct sales, and enterprise sales
  • Proven ability in territory management, lead generation, and account management
  • Experience in medical devices sales would be a plus
  • Exceptional skills in prospecting and cold calling, with a 'hunter' mentality
  • Ability to manage and grow a sales territory, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
