We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking, and experienced Permanent Human Resources Director to join our rapidly growing team in the Energy industry. This role will be instrumental in shaping our company culture, driving team performance, and fostering the growth of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources (HR), including compensation, benefits, HR policy, hiring, onboarding, and leave of absence (LOA). This position offers an incredible opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization and to contribute to the continued success of our team.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Human Resources Director, you will be tasked with the following:
1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
3. Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience.
4. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
5. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
6. Nurture a positive working environment by ensuring health and safety regulations are met.
7. Oversee and administer compensation and benefits programs, providing competitive packages to attract and retain top talent.
8. Develop and enforce HR policies, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and best practices.
9. Oversee employee onboarding and LOA, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing disruption to the business.
10. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
11. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Permanent Human Resources Director, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
1. Proven working experience of 5 years as an HR Director or similar HR managerial position.
2. Comprehensive understanding of the energy industry is preferred.
3. Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics and knowledge of HR systems and databases.
4. Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
5. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
6. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
7. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
8. Degree in Human Resources or related field; further training or certification will be a plus.
9. Experience with the following skill set or equivalent: Compensation, Benefits, HR Policy, Hiring, Onboarding, LOA.
