Job Details
This position is part of the Finance and Accounting team and is responsible for all of North American income tax compliance and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in income tax compliance & tax technical concepts to apply their critical thinking and knowledge in the areas of U.S. federal, state and ASC740 accounting for income taxes. A working knowledge of international income tax reporting will also be beneficial along with the ability and interest to tackle new tax issues and legislative developments impacting the business. A successful candidate will be extremely detail oriented, drive efficiencies, have excellent project management skills, an interest and desire to grow the careers of others, and a drive to grow

Responsibilities:
Own the North America income tax compliance and financial reporting process.
Preparation and review of quarterly income tax provision for U.S. and international entities.
Coordination and review of North America compliance projects, including potential federal, state, and international tax examinations.
Perform tax research and document the company’s income tax accounting methods and tax positions.
Review and assess implications of cross-border transactions and ensure that transfer pricing requirements are duly met.
Coordination of international compliance reporting standards, including OECD Pillar Two.
Train, develop, and support the careers of accounting and tax team members.
Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the income tax process.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in the company’s tax compliance processes.
Partner with business leaders and act in a consultative role across various levels of management on tax matters to facilitate decision making.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
5 - 8 years accounting experience (Required).
BA/BS degree in Accounting or Equivalent (Required).
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (Preferred).
Masters of Tax background (Preferred).
Self-motivated, must be able to prioritize, organize and plan well.
Technical knowledge of federal, state and international income tax issues and concepts.
Technical knowledge of tax accounting rules and U.S. GAAP.
Good decision making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to be creative with thought process in resolving issues.
Strong project management ability.
Able to act as primary owner on projects and analysis.
Goal oriented with a track record of driving through to completion.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Desire to be onsite collaborating with the team, work closely with management and take feedback to improve performance.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to integrate and appreciate our culture.
Aptitude in written and verbal communication skills, with ability to clearly report on key issues and business impact.
Strong Computer Skills (Microsoft Applications, Excel, Word, etc.).
