We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Industrial Maintenance Manager to join our growing team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, responsible for the overall management and coordination of our maintenance team. You will be in charge of ensuring that all our equipment and facilities are in top-notch condition, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. This role requires a deep understanding of budget management, inventory management, and troubleshooting, coupled with a strong ability to develop and oversee a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal operational efficiency.
- Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring all expenses are within the allocated funds and identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible.
- Supervise the maintenance team, including hiring, training, and performance management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts in case of equipment or facility issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
- Manage inventory for all maintenance-related items, ensuring there are no stockouts that could impact production.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify areas of improvement and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide regular reports on maintenance activities, budget utilization, equipment performance, and other key metrics to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Extensive knowledge of budget management, inventory management, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and oversee a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying and implementing effective solutions.
- Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant computer applications.
- Certification in Maintenance Management or related field would be an added advantage.
