The Tax Preparer will be responsible for preparing Annual, Quarterly, and Sales tax returns for a variety of different businesses and individuals.
The Tax Preparer should have 2 years of experience using modern Tax software, such as Lacerte, GoSystems, TaxWise, etc.

Job Details
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file accurate federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
• Review financial records, income statements, and expenses to ensure accurate tax return preparation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and maximize client benefits.
• Provide tax planning services to help clients reduce their tax liabilities and plan for future tax situations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering client inquiries, explaining tax complexities in a clear and understandable manner, and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
• Conduct thorough research to resolve complex tax issues and provide expert advice to clients.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A Master's degree or CPA designation is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation.
• Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software such as Lacerte, GoSystems, or TaxWise.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information and tax laws.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to explain complex tax issues in a clear and understandable manner.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of client information.
