We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Lead Software Engineer with expertise in Ruby on Rails Full Stack to join our manufacturing team. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of our digital transformation, developing and implementing software solutions that will drive the future of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, with a passion for software development and a keen interest in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and implementation of new software solutions, focusing on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing operations.
2. Utilize your expertise in Ruby on Rails Full Stack to design, code, test, debug and document software according to the functional requirements.
3. Develop, maintain and improve iOS/android applications that support our manufacturing operations.
4. Analyze, diagnose and resolve errors related to their applications.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
6. Work closely with the software architecture team to ensure alignment with the overall IT strategy and compliance with software design principles.
7. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure we are leveraging the best tools and practices in our software development processes.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a focus on Ruby on Rails.
3. Proven experience in iOS/android app development.
4. Strong understanding of software architecture and software design principles.
5. Proficient in software debugging and problem-solving techniques.
6. Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate team members.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
9. Self-motivated, with a strong drive for excellence and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
