We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our thriving Manufacturing team. This is a permanent position that will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of maintenance within our facilities, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are in optimal condition and that all maintenance activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. ResponsibilitiesAs a Maintenance Manager, your key responsibilities will include
- Overseeing the maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and machinery, ensuring that they are in good working order and in compliance with all safety and operational standards.
- Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs, including scheduling regular inspections and service, identifying potential problems, and addressing them before they can impact production.
- Managing a team of maintenance technicians, providing them with the training, guidance, and support they need to perform their duties effectively.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as production and quality control, to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure that they do not disrupt production schedules.
- Responding promptly to emergency maintenance situations, coordinating repairs, and minimizing downtime.
- Managing the maintenance budget, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in facility management and incorporating them into our maintenance strategies.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role within the manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of facility management principles and best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and lead a team of maintenance technicians.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify potential maintenance issues and address them proactively.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple maintenance tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate maintenance plans and issues to team members, other departments, and senior management.
- A degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and standards, and a commitment to ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner.
