Job DetailsResponsibilitiesAs a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be tasked with
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of the maintenance team to ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and safely.
- Developing and implementing maintenance procedures and ensuring all procedures are followed by the maintenance team.
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment faults to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
- Managing maintenance schedules and ensuring all preventative maintenance is carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborating with other departments to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Training and mentoring maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety within the team.
- Managing maintenance budgets, monitoring expenditures, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory role within the maintenance field in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing machinery and systems.
- A strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- The ability to make decisions under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications in electrical or mechanical maintenance would be a plus.
