Our company, a leading player in the Manufacturing industry, is seeking a Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and to make a significant impact on our operations. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, ensuring our manufacturing equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of manufacturing equipment, including Allen Bradley PLC, HMI, VFD, and pneumatic systems.
- Performing preventive maintenance on all equipment to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.
- Utilizing electrical and mechanical skills to maintain, repair, and install new or improved equipment.
- Using CMMS to track and document all maintenance activities and updates.
- Collaborating with other team members to improve processes and procedures to enhance safety and efficiency.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting ways to improve the reliability and functionality of equipment.
- Responding promptly and effectively to emergency breakdowns and repairs.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC, HMI, VFD, and pneumatic troubleshooting.
- Strong electrical and mechanical skills.
- Experience with CMMS, Equipment Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and Preventive Maintenance.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
