We are seeking a highly-skilled, reliable, and enthusiastic Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our production machinery and mechanical equipment. This role involves a wide range of tasks including routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex machines and systems. The ideal candidate will have a background in machine maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs, and a passion for problem-solving.

- Performing routine and preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly and systems operate efficiently.
- Inspecting, operating, and testing machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Diagnosing mechanical problems and determining how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
- Repairing or replacing defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
- Troubleshooting and repairing faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems of machines.
- Programming and troubleshooting PLC controlled machinery.
- Maintaining records of each service performed on each machine.
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures during all maintenance operations.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to understand, analyze, and improve machinery and processes.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
- Proven experience in machine maintenance, troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs.
- A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with an ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an analytical mind.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and understandable manner.
- A proactive approach, with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A relevant certification or diploma in a technical field is preferred.
