The selected candidate will serve as a critical liaison between Marketing, Finance, and Billing teams, providing financial insights and recommendations to support marketing strategies and initiatives. - Serve as a key liaison between Marketing, Finance, and Billing teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Utilize PowerBI and advanced Excel to analyze and interpret financial data, providing actionable insights to drive marketing decisions.
- Prepare and analyze journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciling marketing expenses and preparing financial reports.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed, assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Develop and present financial recommendations to support marketing strategies and initiatives, utilizing data-driven insights to drive business growth.
- Continually assess financial processes and systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial analysis role, preferably within the marketing space.
- Proven expertise in PowerBI and advanced Excel, with a strong ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Exceptional financial acumen, with experience preparing journal entries, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and reconciling expenses.
- Strong experience serving as a liaison between various teams, with a proven ability to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to provide ad hoc financial analysis and develop data-driven recommendations to support marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and implement effective financial process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
