We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Materials Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a pivotal part in our energy operations by managing the flow of materials, ensuring that production schedules are met and that the quality of the materials used in production is up to par.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in vendor relations and production planning, with a proven ability to drive efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Materials Coordinator, you will :

1. Oversee and manage the flow of materials throughout the production process, ensuring that all materials are available when needed and that they meet the necessary quality standards.

2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and prices to ensure the best possible terms.

3. Coordinate with various departments to develop production schedules and plans, taking into account the availability of materials and the needs of the business.

4. Implement and oversee inventory control procedures to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.

5. Regularly review and analyze supply chain data to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.

6. Ensure that all materials-related activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.

7. Work closely with the procurement team to forecast future material needs and plan accordingly.

8. Continually evaluate vendor performance to ensure that they are meeting our needs and expectations.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Materials Coordinator position will have :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the energy industry.

2. Proven experience in vendor relations and production planning.

4. Excellent negotiation skills, with a proven track record of securing favorable terms.

5. Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.

6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.

7. Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to materials management.

8. Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant computer applications.

9. A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
