We are currently seeking a highly skilled Millwork Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and developing detailed millwork designs using advanced software tools. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about woodwork, furniture, and cabinet design, and who wants to utilize their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and create detailed millwork designs and plans using advanced software tools such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks, Autodesk, Mozaik, and Microvellum.
2. Collaborate with our design and manufacturing teams to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of millwork designs.
3. Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce high-quality millwork components.
4. Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
5. Conduct regular inspections of finished millwork products to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
6. Provide technical guidance and support to the production team during the manufacturing process.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve design and production issues in a timely and effective manner.
8. Continually stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in millwork design and production technology.
9. Participate in project meetings and provide valuable input to improve the design and manufacturing process.
10. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in millwork design and production, preferably in the furniture and cabinet industry.
3. Proficiency in using advanced design software tools such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks, Autodesk, Mozaik, and Microvellum.
4. Extensive experience in operating and maintaining CNC machines.
5. Strong understanding of millwork production processes, materials, and quality standards.
6. Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
10. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
11. Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations.
