Are you passionate about design, woodwork, and construction? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our team. We are seeking a seasoned Millwork Engineer to join our dynamic and growing construction company. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in woodwork, furniture, and cabinetry to a variety of high-profile projects. As a Millwork Engineer, you will work closely with our design and construction teams to bring our clients' visions to life.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, design, and engineer high-quality millwork and cabinetry solutions for a variety of construction projects.
2. Utilize software such as Microvellum and AutoDesk Inventor to create detailed drawings and specifications for millwork components.
3. Collaborate with the design team to ensure that all millwork elements are integrated seamlessly into the overall design.
4. Work closely with the construction team to oversee the fabrication and installation of millwork components, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the design, fabrication, or installation stages of the millwork process.
6. Continually research and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in the millwork industry to ensure that our company remains at the forefront of the field.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the millwork industry, with a focus on woodwork, furniture, and cabinetry.
3. Proficiency in using design and engineering software such as Microvellum and AutoDesk Inventor.
4. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and quality control procedures.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
7. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
