Our construction company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for managing various areas of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process. You will be working closely with our accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Responsibilities:
- Manage various areas of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Assist with audit and tax preparation
- Participate in special projects as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 3 years of experience in a staff accountant role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with construction accounting is a plus
