We are on the hunt for a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist for our esteemed medical facility. The successful candidate will be a critical player in our patient care team, utilizing their expertise to help patients recover from injuries and improve their physical abilities. This full-time role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field, with a strong emphasis on outpatient care and EMR documentation. The candidate must be a licensed PT in the state of Wyoming.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist, your main responsibilities will encompass
- Evaluating patients' physical conditions and understanding their needs to create personalized therapy plans.
- Implementing and managing comprehensive physical therapy programs to assist patients in regaining and maintaining their mobility.
- Utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and equipment to improve patients' strength, balance, flexibility, and overall physical endurance.
- Collaborating closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care.
- Documenting patients' progress and updating their medical records using EMR systems.
- Educating patients and their families about the therapy process, potential outcomes, and necessary self-care techniques.
- Complying with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as professional practice standards.
- Participating in continuous professional development activities to stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy.
- A valid Physical Therapist license.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient setting.
- Proficiency in using EMR systems for documentation purposes.
- A current CPR certification.
- Exceptional patient service skills and the ability to empathize with patients' physical and emotional struggles.
- Strong analytical skills to assess patients' conditions and develop suitable therapy plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of physical therapy.
