We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a team of talented professionals and have a significant impact on our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering and a passion for improving processes, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to meet the company's objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative manufacturing processes and technologies to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and improve product quality.
- Conduct detailed process studies and perform root cause analysis to resolve complex manufacturing issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute process improvement projects.
- Evaluate current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of processes, procedures, and equipment.
- Train and mentor team members on new processes and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest manufacturing trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Participate in the design and execution of experiments to test and validate new process concepts.
- Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process performance and improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, chemical engineering principles, and process improvement methodologies.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing process improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Proficient in using process simulation software and other engineering tools.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in the manufacturing industry.
- Ability to train and mentor team members on new processes and equipment.
- Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest manufacturing trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
