Responsibilities
- Manage the production process, ensuring that all production targets are met on time and within budget.
- Oversee the production lines, ensuring that they are running efficiently and that any issues are resolved quickly.
- Ensure that all products are produced in accordance with HACCP standards, and that all production staff are trained in food safety and hygiene.
- Manage a team of production staff, ensuring that they are motivated, trained, and working to their full potential.
- Monitor and report on production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce
- Work closely with the Quality Control team to ensure that all products meet the required quality standards.
- Ensure that all production equipment is maintained and serviced as required, and that any issues are reported and resolved in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging staff to identify and implement process improvements.
- 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing production lines in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of production staff.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions quickly and effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to monitor and report on production performance.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required.
