We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Program Director for our Vocational Nursing Program. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and manage our innovative program. You will be an integral part of our medical team, with the responsibility of overseeing the Vocational Nursing Program's day-to-day operations, develop, coordinate, and monitor the nursing faculty and vocational nursing students ensuring that we meet the highest standards of nursing education.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the Vocational Nursing Program to ensure the highest quality of education and training for our students.
2. Develop, implement, and evaluate the curriculum in alignment with the latest industry standards and regulatory requirements.
3. Conduct regular faculty meetings and provide mentorship, guidance, and support to faculty members.
4. Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement strategies for student success and retention.
5. Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, including maintaining accreditation standards and preparing for accreditation visits.
6. Teach courses within the program, utilizing innovative and effective online teaching methods.
7. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports diversity and student success.
8. Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans for the program.
9. Engage with industry partners, community organizations, and other stakeholders to build strong relationships and partnerships.
10. Monitors, assesses, and initiates strategies designed to utilize ATI resources across the curriculum to promote a culture of continuous improvement in NCLEX performance.
11. Advances the universities and programs mission and objectives through systematic evaluation of student learning and advancement of outcomes
Qualifications:

• A master’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university which includes course work in nursing, education, or administration.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience leading a nursing program or related discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a full-time faculty in pre- or post-licensure nursing program.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience teaching in an online teaching and learning environment.
• Minimum of four (4) years Aof continuous full-time experience, or equivalent as a registered nurse providing direct patient care in geriatrics, medical-surgical, mental health psychiatric nursing, obstetrics or pediatrics within the past five (5) years.
• Must hold a valid, active license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
