We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Quality Engineer to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high-quality standards of our products and processes. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse team of engineers and professionals in a thriving manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control methodologies to enhance the efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
- Conduct regular quality assurance audits and inspections to ensure compliance with international standards, specifically ISO 9001.
- Utilize Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement and problem-solving.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and rectify defects or issues in the manufacturing process.
- Use statistical analysis to evaluate production data and implement necessary changes.
- Manage and maintain the quality system, ensuring all processes and procedures are up to date and in line with industry standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop new strategies for product quality enhancement.
- Use CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) programming for product measurement and analysis.
- Operate Keyence CMM for precise, non-contact measurements.
- Identify training needs and provide guidance to junior staff members.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role in the manufacturing industry.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Six Sigma, ISO 9001, Quality System, and Engineering.
- Proven experience in Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Quality Auditing.
- Proficiency in CMM Programming, Keyence CMM, and CMM.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Willingness to continually update knowledge and skills in line with industry developments.
