Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of quality control and quality assurance in our manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure consistent quality.
3. Implement and manage process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
4. Utilize statistical analysis techniques to monitor process performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
5. Drive continuous improvement efforts across all areas of manufacturing, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality management systems and processes.
7. Conduct specification reviews to ensure design and manufacturing processes meet customer requirements.
8. Manage PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) to ensure product consistency and compliance with customer specifications.
9. Lead quality auditing activities, identifying non-compliance issues, and implementing corrective actions.
10. Ensure the highest quality standards for the production of medical devices, adhering to stringent regulatory and industry requirements.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Process Improvement.
4. Strong knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and their application in a manufacturing setting.
5. Demonstrated experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Solid understanding of process engineering principles and practices.
7. Proficient in quality management systems and quality auditing.
8. Experience in specification review and PPAP.
9. Experience in the medical device industry is a plus.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
11. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
12. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is a plus.
