Job DetailsResponsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all operational aspects of a portfolio of properties in the region, ensuring optimal performance and profitability.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive property management strategies, including facility maintenance operations, tenant relations, and financial management.
  • Coordinate and oversee routine and preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements to properties, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, responding promptly and effectively to their needs and concerns.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets for properties, monitoring and controlling expenses, and ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Regularly review and analyze financial reports, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, and making recommendations for action.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring high-quality service at competitive prices.
  • Ensure all properties comply with all local, state, and federal regulations and laws.
  • Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments, and participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, preferably in multi-family or similar construction experience.
  • Proven experience in facility maintenance operations, including planning, coordination, and oversight of routine and preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
  • Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple properties and tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and laws related to property management.
  • Proficiency in property management software and other relevant technology.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certification in property management or a related field is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed to manage properties in the region.
