Are you an experienced Senior Accountant with a knack for financial analysis and a passion for manufacturing? We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permanent Senior Accountant. This role is integral to our financial operations and requires a deep understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing both accounts payable and receivable, producing accurate financial statements, and utilizing Microsoft Excel for complex financial tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Accountant, you will
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with GAAP at all times.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing detailed reports to senior management.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement and manage effective and streamlined financial policies and processes.
  • Use Microsoft Excel to perform complex financial forecasting, data analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Liaise with external auditors during audits, providing all necessary information and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations and decision making.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial projections.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification would be a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including using functions, creating spreadsheets, and using financial software applications.
  • Strong experience with financial analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of data.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of management.
  • Self-motivated, with a high level of integrity and a keen interest in the manufacturing industry.
