What You'll Do:
- Develop and Maintain SaaS Applications: Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust SaaS applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka. You'll be responsible for building microservices that are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
- Microservices Architecture: Design and implement microservices architecture, ensuring seamless integration and communication between services. Your expertise in Spring Boot will be critical in developing efficient and modular components.
- Kafka Integration: Leverage Kafka to build distributed data processing pipelines, ensuring real-time data streaming and high availability across our systems. You'll work on optimizing Kafka configurations and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, DevOps engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software that meets business needs. You'll be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize application performance, ensuring that our SaaS platforms can handle high traffic and large data volumes with minimal latency.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our codebase, architecture, and development processes. You'll be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies and apply them to your work.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them grow their skills and contribute effectively to the team.
What You Bring:
- Expertise in Java Development: 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Spring Boot Mastery: Strong experience with Spring Boot for building microservices and RESTful APIs. You should be familiar with Spring Security, Spring Data, and other key components of the Spring ecosystem.
- Kafka Proficiency: Proven experience working with Apache Kafka, including setting up Kafka clusters, developing
- Kafka producers and consumers, and managing Kafka topics.
- SaaS Development Experience: Previous experience in developing and scaling SaaS applications, with a focus on multi-tenancy, security, and performance optimization.
- Database Skills: Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). You should be comfortable designing database schemas and writing efficient queries.
- DevOps and CI/CD: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks is a plus.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, with the ability to adapt to changing requirements and deliver high-quality software on time.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
- Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, particularly in deploying and managing microservices in a cloud environment.
- Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerizing applications and managing containerized workloads.
- Continuous Learning: A passion for learning new technologies and staying current with industry trends, particularly in the areas of cloud computing, microservices, and distributed systems.
