We're seeking a seasoned Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role will involve working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment where innovation and forward-thinking are prized. The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of new products and manufacturing processes, optimizing efficiency and productivity while reducing costs. This position will also play a pivotal role in risk management and process improvement, ensuring that all projects adhere to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes, focusing on increased efficiency and cost reduction.
2. Use engineering design software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create detailed designs and blueprints for new products and equipment.
3. Drive product development, overseeing the entire process from initial concept to final production.
4. Conduct risk assessments for each project, identifying potential issues and developing effective mitigation strategies.
5. Lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
6. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives, identifying areas of inefficiency and proposing solutions to optimize productivity.
7. Ensure all projects comply with industry regulations and quality standards.
8. Collaborate with various departments, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on engineering design and product development.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other relevant engineering design software.
4. Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing processes and process improvement.
5. Strong leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
7. Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. Proactive, innovative thinker with a drive for continuous improvement.
