Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the Steel Manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst for a position with their Dallas based team.

Responsibilities
- This role involves managing and optimizing end-to-end SAP FICO processes to enhance business functionalities.
- The candidate will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders, configure SAP FICO according to business requirements, and develop functional specifications for custom developments.
- Responsibilities also include conducting testing, providing ongoing support, leading training sessions, and ensuring compliance with financial controls and regulatory standards.
- Additionally, the role requires analyzing financial data within SAP to support decision-making and driving projects to improve financial operations and system integrations.
Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an IT-related field.
- Over 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP, particularly in the FICO modules.
- 3 years of practical experience in financial operations, analyzing, and improving financial systems and processes.
- Experience with full life cycle implementations, from design to go live, for FICO modules.
- Experience with ERP/SAP implementation for manufacturing or steel company.
- SAP FICO certification.
- SAP S/4 HANA experience is a plus.
- Experience working within the principles of Scrum or other agile development practice.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
