Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Senior to join our dynamic team. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for providing exceptional tax services to our clients. You will work with a team of professionals to ensure that all tax-related matters are handled efficiently and accurately. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our clients' tax obligations are met, and they receive the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Preparing and analyzing tax records and reports
* Preparing local, state & federal tax returns, including performing reconciliations, journal entries or other necessary tasks to obtain information
* Assisting and training Tax Associates, as well as supervision and review of their work
* Maintaining fixed asset depreciation schedules
* Performing research on complex tax matters
* Maintaining client relationships
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or higher
* 2 years of experience in tax preparation and planning, ideally with a Public Accounting firm
* Experience with local, state & federal tax, tax reconciliations, journal entries and fixed asset depreciation
* Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Computers/Accounting Software in general
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload and stay organized
* CPA License is a big Plus but not required
