We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Tax Senior to join our Firm. As a Tax Senior, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for our clients. You will be responsible for preparing complex tax returns, reviewing tax returns, and assisting in tax planning and research projects. This role requires a deep understanding of the finance industry, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review complex corporate, individual, partnership, and multi-state tax returns.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and prepare financial statements.
• Work with high net worth individuals (HNI) to develop tax strategies and provide guidance.
• Reconcile balance sheets and identify any discrepancies or inaccuracies.
• Perform audit testing and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and expert advice on tax-related matters.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations and ensure that clients are in compliance.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of tax data.
• Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax role within the finance industry.
• Proven experience with financial analysis, preparing financial statements, and working with HNI.
• Strong knowledge of tax preparation, tax accounting, and corporate tax.
• Experience with s-corp and c-corp taxation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
