Job Details
The Tax Staff Accountant is an entry-level role ideal for individuals with a background in accounting, financial statement preparation, auditing, tax preparation, and tax law.
Primary Responsibilities
Prepare business and individual tax returns to meet compliance requirements and assist in business planning.
Produce accurate and timely financial statements to facilitate informed decision-making.
Foster and maintain effective client relationships through consistent communication, including site visits.
Conduct tax research and communicate findings to clients.
Ensure work is organized, accurate, and completed promptly.
Adhere to regulations and professional ethics.
Stay updated on professional pronouncements and participate in continuing education.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Eligibility or pursuit of CPA certification is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
High attention to detail, quality, and timely completion of tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and various accounting software.
