OVERVIEW

Vaco Dallas is seeking a motivated Tableau Business Intelligence Analyst with 4-7 years of experience for a direct hire opportunity. The BI Analyst will support the finance department by providing data for overall company and operations financial reporting. They will design, develop, and maintain solutions to transform data into insightful information, aiding business decisions. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing data analytics solutions with Tableau, including ETL processes, data models, dashboards, and reports, while ensuring data accuracy and security. Experience with Python is also required for scripting, automation, and advanced data manipulation. This role involves supporting various data-driven initiatives within the organization. The right candidate will be driven to excel and contribute effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain ETL scripts and processes to extract data from multiple sources, including ERP systems such as NetSuite.
• Analyze financial data and collaborate with finance teams to understand reporting requirements.
• Create and manage data models.
• Provide administrative support for Tableau, including licensing, groups, projects, dashboards, and reports.
• Maintain data security and governance within data tools.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all data systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and solutions.
• Implement data quality measures to ensure data consistency.
• Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau.
• Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting to various departments.
• Perform regular database backups, recovery, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT, Accounting, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of data strategies.
• Create and maintain documentation, including design requirements and user manuals.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: 4-7 years of experience in Business Intelligence (BI), data analysis, or related fields, with a background as both a Data Analyst and Developer.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Extensive experience with Tableau (4-7 years), including advanced dashboard development and data visualization.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data manipulation.
• Strong expertise in SQL for advanced data querying and analysis.
• Familiarity with other data analysis tools and techniques such as Excel and R.
• Enterprise-Level Support: Experience supporting large-scale enterprise analysis for environments with 500 users.
• ERP Integration: Experience in extracting and integrating data from multiple ERP systems, with a preference for experience in NetSuite.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to develop process improvements and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Adaptability: Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

NICE-TO-HAVE

• Experience in large companies ($1B ) with multi-location operations.
• Previous experience in Finance and Accounting; Financial Analyst, etc.

In our commitment to transparency throughout the hiring process, we provide a target annual base salary range of $105,000 - $125,000 for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) experience, work location, and skills. Additionally, this position is eligible for comprehensive benefits provided by the hiring employer.
