Data Entry Specialist

About this position
In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-volume data entry tasks with precision and efficiency. This position requires a keen eye for accuracy and the ability to manage electronic files effectively.
Job Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume data entry tasks, maintaining an average keystroke rate of 10,000 per hour.
• Manage electronic files by printing, copying, transferring, and deleting as necessary.
• Access information from computer databases and accurately enter data for envelopes, labels, form letters, and correspondence.
• Format and produce various documents according to established guidelines.
• Utilize basic mathematical skills to perform calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Detect and correct errors in data entry and document production.
• Utilize word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to complete tasks efficiently.
• Operate basic office equipment including photocopy machines, facsimile machines, and binding machines.

Skills/Requirements

• Proficiency in data entry with a minimum keystroke rate of 10,000 per hour.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
• Ability to effectively manage electronic files and access information from computer databases.
• Proficiency in basic mathematical operations.
• Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
• Capability to operate basic office equipment such as photocopy machines and facsimile machines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.

Additional Information:

• Hybrid work environment after training
• 3-month contract with the possibility of extending/converting

Pay/Salary Range:

• Pay Range: $18/hour.
