About the team

The FIS Integration Management Office is a critical team within FIS. The team leads the Integration of all recent M&A integrations, helping to bring recently acquired companies into the broader FIS family of companies. The team works across many phases of the M&A / Integration lifecycle, including serving as a key thought partner in the Asset Diligence and Purchase Phase, the Post-Purchase Technical Integration Phase, and the Deal Thesis Realization Phase. The team serves as the key thought partner, networking leader, and project manager for ensuring deals are executed and integrated in a smooth, timely manner.

What you will be doing

The Deal Engagement Manager (Senior Director, Transformation Consulting) will help to lead overall end to end integration delivery of a newly acquired deal. The Engagement Manager will be responsible for leading and driving our overall functional integration of new businesses, and working with our Line of Business lead as a key leverage point / thought partner on the delivery of commercial integration workstreams. The role sits at the intersection between the Integration Management Office, the Line of Business Integration Lead (where the acquired company will be integrated), our Central Functions (Risk, Legal, etc.), and our acquired TargetCo leadership team. You will be responsible for working with these stakeholders on driving the overall success of the integration, and helping to partner to ensure each of these stakeholders is successful. The role will be evaluated on the timeline and success of the overall functional integration, as well as the financial delivery of key targets in the management plan coming out of asset diligence.

There are several key focal / delivery areas for someone stepping into this role:

• Participate in the M&A / diligence process to ensure end to end Integration continuity on a deal

• Participate in diligence to ensure improved handoffs from diligence to integration

• Provide thought leadership to inform go/no-go decisions on a deal from an Integration Management perspective

• Drive greater governance / decisioning around key Integration issues pre-close • Identify the key strategic decisions on an integration, and help organize stakeholders to make those decisions faster

• Organize and drive overall deal governance and reporting (leadership updates, steercos, weekly workstream / progress meetings)

• Problem solving and partnership on advancing key integration roadblocks

• Thought partnership w/ Line of Business on delivery of synergy items & financial performance (w/ Line of Business leading these areas)

• Work hand in hand w/ leadership of acquired companies to identify / escalate issues as they arise • Delivery of ~15 key critical milestones of a functional integration

What you bring

• Experience leading/managing teams in a matrix environment

• Experience with Integration Management and project delivery

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $197,700.00 - $332,140.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
