~60% of time: Lead Instructional designer
Consults : Partners with leaders inside and outside the Learning & Development function to conduct formal needs assessments, establish learning objectives, and define success metrics.
Designs : Designs the appropriate solution given the audience, objectives, stakeholder/business needs, and time/budget constraints.
Builds : Builds (or leads a team to build) the solution accordingly, including various modalities (instructor-led training, eLearning, performance support, etc.). Performs quality assurance/quality control on various deliverables.
Delivers : Delivers solution, which may include training both virtual and in-person. Partners with management to ensure performance has been improved and sustained.
~25% of time: Project manager
Establishes overall L&D development process, starting from L&D intake requests and build through delivery; includes process for prioritization and staffing
Creates and updates project plans with the various Learning & Development initiatives in flight
Regularly meets with L&D stakeholders to align on progress of initiatives
Tracks L&D solutions and impact
Elevates standards of L&D solutions, including processes to ensure adherence to those standards
~15% of time: Learning Management System support
Partner with the Learning Management System Administrator to conduct day-to-day tasks associated with maintaining the LMS
Tasks may include creating classes, building assignments, researching databases for information, pulling and reviewing work instructions, researching and resolving system-related problems, and preparing reports as needed
What you bring:
Learning and development
Expertise in adult learning and instructional design
At least seven years of experience designing, building, and delivering learning and development solutions across all modalities
Experience with orientation, onboarding, leadership development, systems training, personal effectiveness (time management, communication, influence)
Desire for excellence: Seeks to elevate the standard of L&D solutions; brings ideas that are fresh, research-driven, and/or may be from external vendors
Proficient in Articulate Rise e-learning course authoring software
Ability to learn additional software programs as needed

Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills (ability to write/read/and speak English fluently.)
Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as vendors
