We are looking for Maintenance Technicians who demonstrate maintenance knowledge or ability to learn job duties, ensure resident safety, understand, and respect diverse communities, and adhere to Equal Opportunity Housing regulations. Other duties will include general maintenance/repairs including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, lighting, basic carpentry, light painting, and groundskeeping.The Maintenance Technician will also follow all make-ready plans, repair requests, on-call duties, and routine maintenance services as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.Job Type: Full-time/Part-time. Local travel requiredRequirements:Maintenance Worker Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repairs of equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC systemsRespond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues promptlyConduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactivelyFabricate and install parts as neededUtilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and document maintenance activitiesMaintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment manuals.Maintenance Worker Requirements:Required:Valid Driver's LicenseReliable transportationMust be able to lift fifty (50) pounds, bend, stoop, climb ladders, step stools, and stairs regularly.Available for on-call rotation some weekendsComply with all local, state, and federal regulations as well as all company policies and proceduresStrong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance and managementProficient in English (both written and oral communication skills)Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectivelyFamiliarity with CMMS software for work order managementStrong organizational and follow-up skills.Eye for detail.Professional presentation and attitude.Strong time management skills.Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
