Demolition Foreman Job Summary:As a Demolition Foreman with Local Demo you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including, but not limited to: working directly with customers and clientele, being on-site to help solve and overcome problems in the field, and conveying information accurately, efficiently, and consistently. Duties will include hiring Wrecking Crew Members, assessing the tools and equipment required for each project and ensuring they are in place before the project start date, and developing work schedules based on employee availability. You will oversee daily operations in the field, ensuring projects are completed in a safe, efficient manner.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating daily tasks according to priority in the overall project.
  • Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors.
  • Recruiting, hiring training, managing, and mentoring employees.
  • Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules.
  • Emphasizing the safe use of tools and equipment in the field, as well as implementing the best practices outlined by the company.
  • Upholding quality standards for all jobsites.
  • Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably, while relaying said altercation to superiors with accurate and relevant information.
  • Regularly reporting project status to supervisors.

  • Customer service skills to communicate with customers and General Contractors alike.
  • Decision-making skills for selecting personnel and subcontractors for specific tasks and jobs to meet deadlines and budgets.

  • Speaking skills for providing clear and efficient instruction to Wrecking Crew Members.
  • Technical skills for interpreting construction methods and technologies along with architectural drawings.

Education & Training:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs such as MS Word and Excel, and the ability to learn and adapt to the software used by the company.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  • Construction experience.
Pay & Benefits:
  • $28.00-$35.00/hr. DOE.
  • Company cell phone.
  • Continued education, learning business practices and key efficiencies.
  • Medical Insurance: 60% of premiums paid by company, starting after 6 months of working with minimum 35 hrs. per week.
  • Dental, vision, accident insurance also available.
  • 6 paid holidays after one year of employment.
  • 40 hrs. vacation time after one year of employment, increasing yearly (max 80.0 hrs.)
