Proficiency with audits
Managing processes
This position requires a degree of manual dexterity, ability to work with tools. Must be able to read well and understand complex instructions. Basic computer skills are necessary to use lab instruments
Responsibilities of position
- Mount and Expose tests in the most suitable manner if required
- Remove specimens from exposure for evaluations or returns
- Follow schedule for work actions daily
- Re-expose specimens when necessary
- Maintain proper exposure conditions for under glass test
- Replace loose or misplaced specimens
- Control space availability in test field to ensure room for new and re-exposures
- Maintain racks to ensure correct exposures
- Field Checks to maintain exposures correctly
- Washing of test specimens
- Washing of racks and exposure apparatus
- Polishing test specimens
- Assist with field maintenance if necessary
- Other duties including rack maintenance as required by supervisor
- Operate fork lift as required
- Must take active role in Hurricane Plan
