JobTracks Inc. is Hiring an Insurance Customer Service Representative Near San Diego, CA

SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Customer Service Representative to handle all incoming inquiries from active and prospective clients. This role involves answering customer queries, addressing complaints, and providing detailed information about our insurance products. The representative will also review customers' policies and direct calls to sales agents for policy initiation or upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls regarding insurance policies, coverage issues, complaints, and general inquiries.
  • Demonstrate accuracy in processing client policy modifications on multiple insurance carrier platforms.
  • Assist agency producers with incoming insurance quote requests.
  • Import insureds' information into the agency platform to facilitate outreach for quotes or service needs.
  • Track customer inquiries and follow up to ensure all questions are answered regarding customer policies.
  • Assist insureds with claims and follow up on all claim notifications received from the carrier.
  • Communicate with insureds up for renewal and schedule appointments for renewal reviews with producers.
  • Process BOR (Broker of Record) requests with multiple carriers.
  • Assist with maintaining the agency's social media platforms and other marketing efforts.
  • Stay up to date on new marketing efforts to answer insurance product inquiries utilizing all available resources.
  • Handle complaints, present appropriate solutions and alternatives within set timeframes, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of and comply with all departmental and security policies and procedures, as well as federal regulations, including Department of Insurance requirements. Complete all required compliance training as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Degree, G.E.D., or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience is required. Knowledge of insurance products and policies is preferred. P&C License is a plus.
